Last updated: October 2026 ยท Age in Days

October 30, 2026

  • New on the homepage: your life in weeks. A 90-year calendar fills in every week you have lived from your birth date, marks this week, and shows the dates of any week you point at.

October 29, 2026

  • Working-days mode can now remove US federal holidays or UK bank holidays (England and Wales) for any range from 1978 to 2099. The result names each holiday it removed.
  • New US federal holiday and UK bank holiday pages with observed dates and working days per month to 2030.
  • A Copy link button shares a result. The dates travel after the # in the link, which is never sent to the server.
  • Guides rewritten and merged. Pages that covered the same question, such as four separate pages about leap years, are now one page each. Old addresses redirect to the new pages.
  • The milestones page adds a table of how the calendar age at each milestone varies across every birth date from 1900 to 2025.
  • All reference tables are now generated from the calculator's own date code, so a table cannot disagree with the calculator.

October 2026, earlier

  • Results update as you type, and the calculator moved to the top of the homepage.
  • February 29 birthdays show the March 1 reading next to the February 28 result whenever the two differ.
  • Fixed: ages measured to a month end could show a negative day count. Years 1 to 99 now calculate correctly.
  • Fixed: countdown and next-birthday results now refresh after local midnight in a tab left open.
  • Accessibility fixes from an automated and manual audit: landmark structure, button labels, and a single settled announcement for screen readers.
  • New design and logo. Light mode by default, with a dark theme option.

September 2026

  • Fixed: the next-birthday age and two-digit years in typed dates.

August 2026

  • Fixed: impossible dates such as February 29, 2026 or April 31 were silently moved to the next valid date. They are now rejected.
  • Added the next-birthday and day-milestone modes and the printable milestone calendar.
  • Published the methodology with every counting rule, backed by automated tests for leap centuries, month ends, and daylight saving spans.

April and May 2026

  • April 4, 2026: Age in Days launched with age, date span, countdown, and weekday modes.
  • April to May 2026: first guides and worked examples, and the policy pages.
